And it begins!!!

So much has happened and it's only the first day of the games!!
Last night I watches the opening in a bar in whistler. The place was packed and you feel the Canadian spirit!! It was so fin to be surrounded by so many people that were so excited!!! When Canada walked in the place went crazy!!! And wayne brought in the torch the place went nuts!! And how about Steve Nash?? I love him!!! A great opening for sure!!!

All of our Canadian hearts go out to the fallen Olympic luger! We were getting a bit mad at ctv for continuing to show the footage! We even went to the ctv live post in the village and asked them to stop!!!! It's so sad but people don't need to keep seeing the acident! Whistler does have the hardest and fastest track in the world and today they are going to run the event but from the ladies start. We will have to watch and see what happens.
And I have to say something weather, we do live in a city and mountain city by an ocean! Vancouver is the warmest city in Canada and it always feels like spring we live in one if the worlds last remaining temperate rain forest, it's going to be wet but I hope the world still sees all the beauty that bc has to offer.
