Even Babies Support the Athlets

So who is supporting all these Canadian athletes? If you were a local in Whistler you would wonder id anyone was excited for the Olympics. So many Whistler folks are not too excited about the Olympics coming. “ It’s going to make our town so busy” “ I lost my job” “who are all these people” “Whistler won’t be kept a secret anymore” “No Parking”. We do have lots of things we could complain about, but I don’t!! I know that hosting a huge event like this is going to help us all out in the long run. Look at the amazing new road; it gets me to Whistler in less then 35min. I’m hoping that next year is a busy season and we can all make money off the tourist! Look at all the people who have been employed by the games, not just in the coming days but for the past 5 years. VANOC has created some amazing programs for youth in schools that will continue, and so much more!!
Yes there are things that we can all be down about… but if we were not pumped for the games we had 5 years to make a plan to go on vacation!! So if your going to stay. I say be excited! Work hard and make lots of money. It’s going to be a huge party, and I hope to be right in the middle!!!
So baby Stella thank you for being excited for the games.. who know one day you may be an Olympian!!
