Women the True Olympic Athletes

I know that these Olympic athletes work almost their entire life to get to the Olympics, and I would never want any guy out there to think that I don’t believe that they are equally as good, But this is it for women in sport and I believe that they are the true athletes.

Women don’t have any professional leagues, so when they are the best at their sport they are the BEST!! Take womens hockey for instance, these women are the best of the best! These women can’t go any higher then the Olympics. They can’t dream of being a professional hockey player, getting paid for what they love most. NO winning the Gold Medal in Hockey for them is like winning the Stanley Cup for the men. And the mens team can dream of two things the gold medal and Stanley Cup. I’m excited to watch the women compete in all the events, because that is where I see the true passion for there sport.

I’m not ragging on the men, I know they are amazing as well, but there is something said for being the BEST! And ending at that. Most of these women who are the best in their sport become Olympic announcers or mothers, only getting paid in endorsements they were able to make when they were on top…
